Since 2012, the Global Ireland Football Tournament (G.I.F.T.) event has welcomed 36 different school teams, from 11 states and 4 nations. The event has taken place in Ireland five different times (2012, 2014, 2016, 2023, and 2024) with 2025 marking the sixth year of the event running alongside the FBS opener, the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. It includes a week’s worth of cultural and experiential learning activities, mixed with practices, a pep rally, parade and global media coverage.
With the FBS match-up now locked in, we’re thrilled to announce that high school aged teams will have a chance to compete in this prestigious event. Spots are limited, so coaches and teams should contact Global Football immediately to secure their entry. Don’t miss out—follow the action at this year’s 2025 G.I.F.T., kicking off August 22 at Energia Park!
